Home Staging Checklist

Here is a simple list to get you started.

• Kitchens are key-Clean off all countertops

• Clean out refrigerator and oven as these go with the home most of the time. Also remove any pictures and coupons on outside of fridge.

• Organize inside of eye level cabinets.

• Shine your sink.

• Look up-remove those webs, they are there.

• Bathrooms are second key-Clean and clear all surfaces.

• Get a new shower curtain and hang clean towels neatly.

• The floors and mirrors should shine.

• The walls-declutter by removing some personnel pictures.

• How's the paint? A fresh paint job makes a world of difference.

• Are the walls free of holes ?

• The Floors-Have the carpet cleaned if needed.

• Mop and shine all hard surfaces.

• The windows-Make sure they are clean inside and out.

• Dust or clean window treatments. (blinds-curtains)

• Pets-As much as we love them others do not. Remove all signs that one lives in your home before showings.

• Aroma-This can be a deal killer! Air out the home and use light fresheners. Don't do crazy, light a candle during showings if you need. Try the new Glade Apples & Cinnamon.

• The mood-Open up the window treatments let the sun show off your clean, organized, and well staged home. You are ready.

• Turn on some soft music.
